[Schedule Now](https://www.mtshuksanfamilymedicine.com/make-appointment) Christopher brings a thoughtful, whole-person approach to primary care for patients across the lifespan, from children to older adults. “We’re pleased to welcome Christopher to our team, he has a kind and gentle spirit,” said Kirstin Curtis, ARNP, DCNP. “His whole-person, relationship-centered approach to care is exactly what we value at Mt. Shuksan Family Medicine and Dermatology, and we are confident our patients will feel heard and well cared for.” ### **A Pacific Northwest Clinician![Christopher Stinnett (2)](https://www.mtshuksanfamilymedicine.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Christopher%20Stinnett%20(2).png?width=300&height=300&name=Christopher%20Stinnett%20(2).png)** Originally from Kentucky, Christopher has called the Pacific Northwest home since 2016. He and his family have put down deep roots here, and he feels strongly about caring for and giving back to the community he now calls home. He earned his nursing degree with honors from Bellingham Technical College and his Bachelor of Science in Nursing with honors from Western Washington University. He later completed his Master of Science in Nursing in Family Medicine at Frontier Nursing University. ### **Broad Clinical Experience** Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Christopher gained experience across medical and surgical specialties, including gastroenterology and orthopedics. He cared for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. That background shaped his relationship-centered approach to primary care. ### **Gut Health, Mental Health, and Shared Decision-Making** Christopher has a particular interest in gastrointestinal health and the gut-brain connection. He also emphasizes mental health and the relationship between psychological well-being and physical health. His approach considers the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence health. He puts a strong emphasis on listening, collaboration, and shared decision-making with his patients. ### **Outside the Clinic** Christopher enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. He also likes kayaking, camping, fishing, golfing, and exploring the outdoors throughout the Pacific Northwest. ### **Schedule with Christopher in December** Christopher will begin accepting new patients in December.
